She is the author of 12 books, including Pornography, Right-Wing Women, Woman Hating, Intercourse, and more. She died 9 april 2005 in Washington D.C. in her sleep at he age of 58 as the susult of a myocarditis.

Tamika D. Mallory was born 4 September 1980 in Manhattan, New York. She served as the youngest ever executive director of the National Action Network. Her speech in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota—entitled “State of Emergency”—was dubbed “the speech of a generation” by ABC News. Mallory is an expert in the areas of gun violence prevention, criminal justice reform, and grassroots organizing.
