Trevor Burnard was born on 15 October 1960 in Dunedin, New Zealand. He was Wilberforce Professor of Slavery and Emancipation at the University of Hull and director of the Wilberforce Institute. He was the author of numerous books on Caribbean plantation history and imperial history and served as editor of the Oxford Bibliography Online in Atlantic History. Burnard died on 19 July 2024, at the age of 63.

Andrew Jackson O’Shaughnessy was born in in 1959 in Cheshire, Engeland. He is professor of history at the University of Virginia. His books include An Empire Divided: The American Revolution and the British Caribbean and the prizewinning The Men Who Lost America: British Leadership, the American Revolution, and the Fate of the Empire.

Steve Holmes was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand. His fascination with motoring and motorsport dates back to his youth. He has a High School Certificate education, but has completed various university papers and practised various trades, including marketing and MIG/TIG welding. Steve began racing Karts at the age of 16, and continued until he moved to London, England, at age 21 where he lived for two years. He took an interest in motorsport history as a teenager, and has since written numerous magazine articles and books on the subject, and is involved in running a historic racing category in New Zealand. He is in the process of building an FIA Appendix K 1967 Pontiac Firebird for historic racing, and he and his British born wife are looking to move to Europe in the near future. Steve runs a motorsport history and discussion forum called The Roaring Season. He was recently accepted as a member of the Guild Of Motoring Writers.

De Amerikaanse Burgeroorlog duurde van 12 april 1861 – 9 april 1865. Met de overgave van de zuidelijke generaal Lee op 9 april 1965 aan de bevelhebber Grant van de Noordelingen in bij Appotomatix Courthouse in Virginia, kwam er een einde aan de bloedige burgeroorlog waarvan de effecten tot op de dag van vandaag voelbaar zijn in de Verenigde Staten. Melody Golding is an author, a photographer, and an artist. She received a BFA from Mississippi State University. The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History Archives Center acquired her solo documentary exhibit on Hurricane Katrina and her documentary photography and oral history project on wild boar hunting in the Mississippi Delta. Her photographs are on display at the Department of Homeland Security and have been featured in solo exhibitions at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC, and at numerous universities, colleges, and museums. Her Katrina photos are the subject of a solo exhibition at the Two Mississippi Museums from March 8, 2025-November 7, 2025 in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the storm’s impact on Mississippi. She is author of Katrina: Mississippi Women Remember; Panther Tract: Wild Boar Hunting in the Mississippi Delta; Life Between the Levees: America’s Riverboat Pilots; and Hometown Mississippi, all published by University Press of Mississippi.
